Great job racing this weekend!
Today, we'll do a swimdown from the meet;
Tomorrow we'll do our "Best/least-best/differently or better" talks
12 x 75 in sets of 4:
1-4, go drill/kick on back/drill by 25's @ 1:20
5-8, go swim/kick/swim by 25's @ 1:15, smooth, nothing sloppy
9-12, swim IM order by 25's @ 1:10 (fly/back/breast by 25's on #1, then back/breast/free on #2, etc)
1:00 rest, check HR
All @ 2:00 rest-
30 minute swim, all smooth & long; change strokes if you'd like every 400 yards
20 minute pull w/shnorkel & buoy; paddles if you'd like, but go 300 on/300 off*
*do not go the full 20 minutes pull with paddles! Go 300 paddles on/300 paddles off
10 minute kick- go 100 kick on back (focus on udk's), then 50 kick w/boards*
*do not go all ten minutes kick on board, alternate 100 on back/50 with boards
Check HR after each
Warmdown a 350 (alternate drill/kick by 50's), make sure you're ready for the week ahead at school & thank your parents for helping to run the meet this weekend. Have a great day!
